Apologies for not posting sooner, but I've had internet issues this week. Blah.



We all have our favorite players, but some of us have a favorite player that is...shall we say, less than stellar. These can be guys that are good hitters, but terrible fielders or magnificent fielders but mediocre hitters, or even both! Whatever the case may be, there are those of us that subject ourselves to this situation for reasons unknown, myself included.



Take the White Sox's Brian Anderson for example. Brian has been my favorite for three years. He's a wonderful center fielder with awesome defense and a plus arm. But the fact is the guy fails at hitting. Yet I still follow him and root for him. Yeah, sometimes I feel silly and like it's totally pointless, but it's great when he does succeed. Plus I know I can look forward to great defense in his part every time he's out there.



So my question to you guys is this: Do you have a favorite player that sucks at one thing or other? If so, why do you like this guy?

I have a question for you guys.  If I had a sale around the Thanksgiving weekend at my shop, would you buy something?  Yes?
